Hear Between Every Note
Residents of senior facilities are given the opportunity to experience thought-provoking performances in the comfort of their own home. Sharing the joy of music with seniors illuminates forgotten memories, brings a sense of peace, and enhances physical and mental wellbeing. This program is more than just music – it's about revitalizing emotions from within and creating a truly meaningful experience.

Music For Life
Music For Life brings joy to those who need it most. By gifting the beauty of chamber music, our program aims to enhance the quality of life for both children and seniors. Our artists are dedicated to brightening the day of patients and their families, one note at a time.

New Wave Chamber Music Week
This program allows aspiring musicians to play alongside high-caliber chamber musicians, giving them hands-on experience to stimulate artistic development. Each year we offer a Grow Through Music scholarship to musicians in need of financial assistance. This local program has been shaping musicians for the last six years and will continue to do so for many more.

The New Wave Foundation
The New Wave Foundation offers the opportunity for children to grow through music. This program provides instruments and outreach opportunities to students who would otherwise not have access to proper instruction, including homeschoolers and those attending schools without string programs. Join us in making a difference in our community.

“Dr. Spence is an amazing teacher! Under his instruction for the past few years, I’ve watched both my daughters (currently 15 and 7) grow musically as well as develop other skills that translate outside of music. He has a keen eye for details and is able to tailor instruction to the individual while using a whole-child approach to learning. His open communication with parents has helped to ensure that my children are able to meet their specialized needs and flourish in their enjoyment of creating music. Through his instruction, my oldest child also met her goal of having a successful audition for Bay Youth Orchestra this year.
