Hear Between Every Note

Hear Between Every Note provides seniors with thought-provoking performances in the comfort of their own homes while receiving hearing care from trusted professionals. This gives more than simply music; we are reviving emotion from within.

Music For Life

Music For Life strives to enrich the quality of life for ill children and seniors through the gift of chamber music. Galatea brings professional and student musicians to play for patients and their families, providing a moment of joy in someone’s day.

New Wave Chamber Music Week

This program allows musicians of all ages to play alongside our Artists, giving them hands-on experience to stimulate artistic development. Because everyone’s financial situation is different, each year Galatea offers a Grow Through Music scholarship to musicians in need of financial support. This local program has been shaping musicians for the last six years and will continue to do so for many, many more.

The New Wave Foundation

The New Wave Foundation allows underprivileged children to grow through music. This program provides instruments and other outreach opportunities to students who do not have the means for proper instruction — including students from schools without string programs. At Galatea, we strive to be the change we wish to see in our community.

Under his instruction for the past few years, I’ve watched both my daughters (currently 15 and 7) grow musically as well as develop other skills that translate outside of music. He has a keen eye for details and is able to tailor instruction to the individual while using a whole-child approach to learning.
